The Monthly Scoop on the Lawn | April
I hope everyone is enjoying spring! I just wanted to say how thrilled I am with how the lawns are shaping up this season. To our new customers, thank you for jumping on board with our awesome company! Please hang tight – you're part of something special here! Lawn care is definitely a process, but trust me, it's worth it.
April threw us some curveballs with 15+” of rain, but hey, that's part of the adventure, right? Our grasses, like bluegrass, definitely went on a roller coaster ride, but they've bounced back like champs. And tackling those weeds? It's been a piece of cake this time of year.
Our techs are giving it their all to ensure everyone's second application is wrapped up by June 1st. We're targeting those pesky broadleaf weeds, so get ready to say goodbye to them!
Now, let's talk about seed heads. Ah, the beauty of grass in all its reproductive glory! What you're seeing now is totally normal, though some seed heads are more desirable than others. Unfortunately, that Poa Annua popping up? Not our favorite, but hey, it's all part of the grass family!
Looking ahead, we're gearing up to kick off our MosquitoMist applications the week of the 13th. It's a hit with our customers – all-natural and super effective! Sure, it means more frequent visits, but trust me, it's worth it for a mosquito-free summer.

And for our Superintendent Program folks, stay tuned – we'll be on high alert for any lawn diseases that notoriously come early June. We're gearing up for those applications late May, so if you're thinking of upgrading to this comprehensive plan, shoot us a message before June 1st.
Thanks for being part of our lawn-loving family! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to chat grass.
