We blend a special combination of dormant oil and fertilizer to coat the bark and foliage, smothering any insects that overwinter in your valuable trees and shrubs. This is an important time of the year to provide a food source for your plants to digest to help with winter recovery.
Although the dormant oil does a fantastic job at preventing insects, we want to double down on them to ensure your trees and shrub’s don’t have a run-in with insects and disease such as: aphids, lace bugs, mites, thrips, whiteflies, tent caterpillar, loopers, army worms, bag worms, meal bugs, scales, rust mildews, black spot, or scabs.
Just because summer is winding down doesn’t mean insect and disease pressure is over. We will apply a specially formulated blend of bio insect and disease control. Our goal is to out compete the bad fungi with beneficial organisms that naturally feed on these pests. Controls: aphids, lace bugs, mites, thrips, whiteflies, tent caterpillar, loopers, armyworms, bag worms, meal bugs, scales, rust mildews, black spot, and scabs.
This is the best application for building organic matter and providing a nice slow feeding to soil microorganisms. This is a granular blend containing poultry litter, biosolids and calcium. It is heavily applied at the base of all your trees and shrubs.
Are your products safe for pets and children?
Absolutely! GreenStripe only uses the best on your lawn. Though, if the lawn was sprayed, we recommend staying off the grass until it’s dry.
Do we need to schedule services in advance?
Not unless you want to! Your services will typically happen on a similar schedule year-to-year and we’ll contact you before we come out.
